Our mission is to provide healing through hockey. Military and first responders sustain wounds and injuries during their time of service. The Chattahoochee Valley Warriors Hockey Program looks to provide a therapeutic experience, while building comradery and giving back to the local community.
Our organization is full of people who have been helping others for the majority of their lives. We continue to strive to engage with and assist our community however we can. This is especially useful for our members who may be having difficulty adjusting to life after service.
The organization was originally founded in 2019 as the Georgia Warriors. In June of 2022, the Georgia Warriors took to the ice rebranded as the Chattahoochee Valley Warriors with the backing and support of the USA Warriors Ice Hockey Program. By the end of 2022, the CVWHP had grown from 2 to over 40 members, held over three dozen sessions on the ice, and participated in various community events.
